Evergreen Alliance Celebrates 5 Years!

Group

In early 2021, when most everyone was still hunkered down at home in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, stockpiling toilet paper and water, and becoming video conference experts, an intrepid group of accountants quietly opened a new public accounting firm in Southern California. The name, Evergreen Alliance, was inspired by our founding partners’, Stacey Bergman and Melissa Roshnaye’s, love for the great outdoors and a desire to create a firm that would walk alongside nonprofit organizations as a partner in their missions to serve our communities and our world.

From its humble beginnings of seven staff serving 78 clients from a 2,700 square foot office in Los Alamitos and subleased space in San Diego, our firm has seen five years of sustained growth as nonprofits from all over the country reach out for quality support with their accounting and tax compliance. As we hit five years, that small group has become 17 full-time staff and two interns serving over 230 clients. We have expanded our Los Alamitos office by 30% and leased another 1,800 square foot office in San Diego.

We have built relationships with numerous other professionals in our community who are equally as committed to seeing nonprofit organizations receive the same level of support as their for-profit counterparts do. From lawyers, to grant-writers, to strategic consultants, and other CPA firms, we have partnered with these subject matter experts to build a network of resources for nonprofit organizations. We provide multiple educational seminars through our partners and were thrilled to launch our first nonprofit conference in 2025, an event which will be an annual affair.

Our mission has always been and continues to be to provide expert accounting solutions and support to the nonprofit industry, helping our clients tell the story of their important works with their financial information, and freeing them to focus their efforts on making a positive impact on the world. It has been an extremely rewarding five years and we can’t wait to see what the next five years bring!
